Whole lot of dads

I was petting my cat Abby a few hours ago when I noticed the backporch light had turned on, so I went to peek at who was out there....and saw Daddy Feral! (her father) There was no food in the dish, so he left, and as soon as he was gone I went out to refill it. He immediately came back to eat, and I got a bit of video of him :) (It's not very ( Read more... )

He must be doing well for himself, yeah. It's good to see him and the others now and then; I haven't seen James' brother Spencer in a year, but he'd gone almost two years between previous sightings, so he may well be around somewhere. I fear for Mama because she used to hang around more regularly and sleep in our yard, but I haven't seen her since she was pregnant last spring.

I wish I knew. He's admitted that he keeps hitting his head for some some reason, so maybe that's contributing to it. Maybe he should wear a helmet around the house :P

Yeah, I go on the treadmill nearly every night, and do eat a lot of fruit (my first meal of the day is usually all fruit) and mostly drink just water. I'm sure I'd be a LOT heavier if I didn't practice these habits. I don't eat a lot of high-fat foods these days because that seems to bother my IBS...but I do have a terrible sweet tooth. So I have a bad habit of snacking on sweets shortly before bed, which is when my appetite most ramps up. Also, sometimes I get overwhelming cravings for carbs so I go crazy with pita or crackers before coming to my senses.

It is true that I don't walk outside much in winter, and that may be contributing to it (I've gained about 10 pounds since November). Maybe once spring arrives and I walk around more outdoors AND go on the treadmill I'll lose some of that again...I hope. I'd hoped that shovelling snow would help, and it doesn't seem to :P

You need to stick Stan in one of those John Travolta bubbles. He can roll around like a hamster XD

...I read that as "sometimes I get overwhelming cravings for crabs" o_o I need to get out of Maryland...

I got out of the house today. If I can do it, anyone can!

Pretty sure neither Stan nor my dad would tolerate that :> Both are about as stubborn as I am (which is to say, extremely so).

There was a crabs outbreak in my dorm when I lived there. People dumped their contaminated linens in the halls and bathrooms, for Momos' sake (fortunately I did not catch them).

I get out of the house when I have a reason to....but most of the time in winter I have no reason to, and stay snugly indoors. In summer I go out just to enjoy the weather, in winter I hate the weather. I needs me a weather machine.

That's why you do it when they're sleeping. Just roll them into the bubble. Together, so they have company ^^

......o_0 I was talking crustaceans. *LOL* Although, Dave is fond of stating the fact that Baltimore, MD has the highest outbreak of the other kind of crab in the state :D

No, you needs you a Weather Wizard :D

I mentioned the other kind of crabs in my other message to you, and decided to tell a horrifying anecdote here :D

Yeah, but he might create bad weather just to mess with me. He does that sometimes....

To be honest, I think it would be interesting living around the Rogues. It's always an adventure ^^

Hehe...Mark's being a jerk...

Interesting, but probably exasperating too :>

Of course, the other Rogues might be mad that their ballgame is rained out....

But my discomfort around mirrors would finally be justified! :D

I'll start a support group for people that have been emotionally scarred by a guy coming out of their mirror. And I'll charge people. I'll be rich!
