Had a pretty bad bout of depression and anxiety again, but seem to be coming out of it now. Two days without thinking of suicide, woo :> (I take my victories where I can get them)
My Freedom Force site seems to have finally been taken down. The poor creaky thing was thirteen years old, and definitely showing its age. Still, even though I'd let it lapse without updates for a while, now that it's gone I feel like I should find somewhere else to host it; the information's outdated but there's still a lot of stuff on it (the Mystique chronology was always fairly popular).
So apparently I am completely predictable and possibly slightly infamous. Last week on /co/ there was a /co/-related cosplay thread, with hard-mode being cosplay of yourself. I didn't really want to get made fun of, so I posted one of the DC group shots from Fan Expo, and said that I was in the photo but didn't say who. Now, there were 18 cosplayers in the pic, but somebody actually replied "You're the Top or Lego Superman". I was kind of flabbergasted, but admitted I was indeed the Top.
Then a few days ago I decided to storytime the Top's first two Silver Age appearances on /co/. I was posting anonymously, though did note that I was a Top fan unhappy about him getting replaced in the New 52. And then partway through the storytime, somebody says "Lia?" Again, I admitted to it, and asked who it was. They said that I don't know them but they're a regular reader of Speed Force, and they saw my cosplay pics at SF and at /co/ last week, and put two and two together. So that's how you get a rep on the Internet: be utterly predictable and kind of crazy :>
