So my new computer arrived yesterday and is now running and downloading and installing ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! It's amazing how much it can do without having a hissy fit like my old computer. I'm also enjoying Windows 7 and kinda feel like I've made the change from the Enterprise to the Enterprise A- everything's so new and shiny!
I'm currently in the process of re-downloading WoW though my financial situation is making it look like a game-card is the best way to go for now. My friends also loaded me up with 7 games that I need to play now that I can and I'm currently most excited for Dragon Age, Sims 3, and Left 4 Dead 2.
On the fail side, my music didn't transfer well from iTunes to WMP. At least half my collection is still somewhere on my old computer and I'm not entirely certain how to get it on here, since clearly my first attempt failed. Maybe the stuff I'm missing wasn't in my Music folder and thus got left behind? I dunno. iTunes blows and I'm not re-downloading it this time.
I'm now in the middle of my "break", and I'm stuck trying to decide what I want to do all the time. I'd really like to start exercising but since I'm not a student anymore I now need to purchase a gym membership which is hard to do without moolah. I could also read more Sherlock Holmes... (I'm in the middle of the second book in my Complete Collection) or I could wait for all this junk to download and mess around on my bright shiny new computer.
Also in my future is a roadtrip to Baltimore for an internship interview January 8, 9, and 10. That should be interesting since I've never been there and it's supposed to snow the rest of the week. Yay for driving through Pennsylvania Mountains during January!
