So to continue from where I last left off....
I went to see Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest at midnight the night before it opened by myself because even though I had been advertising it for weeks, I hadn't managed to find any Brothers willing to come with me. *sadness*
I got there, sat down, and tried to look for someone I knew, cuz yanno, it's summer and I'm in the town I've lived in for 20 years... and luckily an old friend from HS showed up with her boyfriend! The boyfriend turned out to be the guy that I was in a play called Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead with which you can read about way back in my LJ. (June 16th 2004) I had developed a crush on him at the time, and seeing him now with this girl kinda made me laugh. Oh well. We talked and caught up during the 30 minutes before the previews, and then talked some more during the 30 minutes OF previews.
One of the things we talked about was dressing up for the show... and I started telling them about Origins and the pirate guy I knew from it, Nigel Sade, and how he was a native of Kent... and what happened but he WALKED IN THE DOOR with his family all dressed as pirates. And I was like, "OMG That's him!" under my breath, and my old friend started fricking SHOUTING "THAT'S HIM?!?!" and I about died from embarassment. There was no way he couldn't have heard her. And I wished I'd said something like "Yeah, that's him. He's SO cool! He makes my day!" or something, instead I died from embarassment and shame that I was talking about him and she made a scene. I respect him so much for just doing what he likes, but I'm sure he probably took it as "OMFG ANOTHER dumb girl thinking I'm dumb" or something. Sigh.
So anyway, we watched the movie and I was REALLY disappointed. Mostly because it felt like a 2 1/2 hour preview for the third movie. It pissed me off. I mean, I enjoyed most of it, but the ending really made me angry. If they had made it a stand alone movie, I would have LOVED it. It had great parts (The escape from the island, the fight on the beach and waterwheel) but the ending really left me upset. Not that I think for one instant that Jack died, but because NOTHING was accomplished. We don't know what the new commodorre guy is going to do with the heart, we don't know what happened to Bootstrap Bill, we don't know what's going to happen between Will and Elizabeth, we don't know what happened to Jack, AND there isn't even a Black Pearl anymore. WTF?!
So now that I have that out of my system, let's talk about work.
I'M QUITTING! WOOT!
Now that that's out of my system, let's talk about last week.
So during the week I was invited to go with my Brother Christine to the Great Lakes Renaissance Festival on Sunday with her and a few other Brothers. Unforunately I had promised Pet that I would drive up to see her again, so I turned it down. No biggie. Christine and I got together for lunch, anyway, and we had a good time catching up and playing with my cats.
After she left I got together with JR and Big Matt to talk about the OGO student chapter that I'm supposed to be the president of, and got some good ideas, along with warning them that I might not be able to continue being president during the school year, though I'm going to try.
So Friday, I was invited to go to Cedar Point with a few other Brothers, and I decided, what the heck? I can go after work. Well at work I started feeling woozy. I wasn't moving well, and I kept feeling dizzy and breaking out in cold sweats. I thought I was making it up so that I could go home early and go to Cedar Point, but I really wasn't feeling well. I worked for an hour and 15 minutes before I asked to go home and they let me. Once I got in the car and got gas, I realized I was feeling better, and decided to change and drive up to Sandusky anyway.
So I drove up there and got there around 1pm, in time to ride the Magnum with Candance, Eric, Caitlin, and my little, Aaron. I'd never ridden the Magnum before. I found it funny that I was feeling dizzy and the first thing I did was ride the biggest, scariest rollercoaster I'd ever been on in my life. But I made it. And it was pretty fun!
From the Magnum we went to the Gemini, which was a blast. Caitlin and I rode the red side against the other three on the blue, and we TOTALLY won. No, really. Don't listen to them. We won. We had the most spirit anyway, yelling at them and laughing whenever we passed, and scareing everyone else in the car. After the Gemini we went to the Mean Streak which is still one of my favorite rollercoasters EVER. I love it so hard. From the Mean Streak we rode the Mine Ride which went a whole 40 MPH OMFGBBQ!!! It was a blast though cuz we were treating it like a real rollercoaster and making the people in the car ahead of us laugh. Plus the safetybar had only 1 setting, which isn't conducive to big boys... and Eric and Aaron had decided to sit together. OMG it was so funny listening to them dying behind us whenever we went over a hill. If the ride had gone any faster than 40mph they would have been in some trouble... but it was funny.
After the Mine Ride we left the park and went to McDonalds for dinner, then re-entered and watched Snoopy on Ice, which was actually really good. None of the skaters fell, and they were doing really impressive moves. I was going to drive to Clearfield that night, so I said goodbye after it and drove back home.
After being kidnapped by my mom for an hour, I went home, grabbed some stuff, and took off for Clearfield. I started falling asleep before I even crossed the state line into PA, so I called
crazyjoyfulgirl and she kept me awake for the rest of the trip... until I was driving in the left lane in the pitch black and this car zoomed up behind me. It flashed its lights once and I started bitching about how I was too tired to get over and if it was really in such a damn rush, it could f-ing pass me on the right. I started driving 75 mph to try and appease it, then slowed to 60mph trying to get it to pass me, but instead it just flashed its brights at me again. I was swearing up a storm, until it turned its COP CAR LIGHTS on and pulled me over. *dies*
So apparently it's illegal to drive in the left hand lane in PA unless you're passing or turning left. The fine? $25. The TOTAL after they add in a whole shit load of stuff? $106.51. ONE HUNDRED AND SIX FUCKING DOLLARS FOR NOT KNOWING DRIVING IN THE LEFT LANE AT 2 AM IS A CRIME. *grumbles* Oh, and I only have 10 days to send it in, instead of the 30 days I had for my Ohio Speeding Ticket for $85. At least he didn't ticket me for driving 75mph. But I would think speeding would be worse than driving in the abandoned left lane. But no. FUCK PA!!
So anyway, I arrived at Clearfield and we talked for a bit while I collapsed in bed, and she was drunk, so there was lots of babbling about Pie and how she loves things more than Pie, so Pie must be sad and sit in the corner crying blood tears because people love everything more than it.
When we woke up the next day she introduced me to Michael, the baby of Erica, the girl Pet's currently housing. (They're family and I'm not sure of the whole story, plus ain't my business.) And OMG he is BEAUTIFUL. His eyes are huge and GORGEOUS. Then his uncle came to visit, who's pet's firstborn's dad, and after kicking him out we went for Chinese. Then we went back and played Mario Party for a good long time, where she kicked my ass once, and I kicked hers once, and then we went to a drive-in theatre movie.
Monster House and Click were playing, and we snuck in food but bought some too, and had SO MANY Sam and Dean moments during Monster House it was funny. I mean OMG. That movie was seriously chock-full of similarities. We had a blast watching it, and then Click started. It's a pretty good movie... and would have been better if my car battery hadn't died with 30 minutes left in the movie. Because Radio+Windshield Wipers+AC= 2hrs Battery Life. I should have turned my car on at intermission instead of turning everything off, but I didn't want to waste the gas. Instead I had to ask a kind man with about 6 kids in his car to give me a jump, and he did. He was really really nice about it too. *HEARTS KIND PA MAN!*
So we drove home and watched the House of Wax commentary and bloopers, and my Jenny now wants to castrate the one known as Mayhem for DARING to call poor J-Pad "A horrible Person". Plus he's not sure, but it looked like Mayhem's hand touched J-Pad's ass... and he's really pissy about it.
Then I nearly passed out. When I woke up, Pet told me about her AMAZING dream which was about her, Foxie, and I going to Supernatural conventions and Jensen stalking her while she was his assistant, then inviting us to his room with Jared... and her and Jensen talking and cuddling while J-Pad let me go through his cell-phone, prank calling almost everyone, and bitching out Mayhem, but refusing to let me call JDM because both Jensen and Jared would then get killed for pranking him in the middle of the night. Then I apparently got thrown over J-Pad's shoulder and had my ass smacked while he walked down the hallway... and later at a different convention J-Pad let me sit between his legs while he pet me and played with my hair... and CHRISTIAN was there and let me sit on his lap and braid his hair while he sang to me. I seriously wish I had as amazing dreams as Pet does.
We went to DuBois to eat at Ponderosa, then came back and watched Smallville until about midnight, when we changed to Dark Angel and lusted over Alec for a GOOD long time. Then Pet made screencaps of Alec for new icons, and my personal benefit... (Jensen wears red sweatpants that totally let you see everything you ever wanted.... damn that man is HUGE... and hangs to the left, FYI) Then we watched a bunch of interviews and music videos, then J-Pad's bicep in his ER episode and him in Young Macgiver. (Which I can't spell.)
Then we looked at new pics of them, and I fell asleep again.
When I woke up this morning we read J2 porn, and then I realized that I have a SHITLOAD to do in the up-coming week, so I pretty much freaked out and left before I wanted to, then had a panic attack in the car before I called my mom. She helped me organize my brain and I calmed down, and ended up driving back without incident. I just got back from going out to eat with my mom.
So this upcoming week, I have to go to work until Saturday, pack my entire apartment, move into the new one, change over all utilities, pay my tuition, pay my ticket, get my car alignment looked at, get my front right tire looked at, get my oil changed, wash my car, get my hair-cut, finish deciding about my tattoo, get my tattoo, go to the Summer Meeting for my Frat, decide about de-clawing my cats, possibly get my cats de-clawed, figure out how to move the dryer from my mom's old house, get my old apartment straightened out, decide which bedroom I want, renew my car insurance, get a new driver's liscence, turn 21, drink, party, puke, and copy music for the Marching Band.
Yeah, I'm fucking busy. No posting until into August. Byebye!
