This is a very long post, with things positive and not-so-postive. (gosh when was the last time I check everyone's LJ entries?)
It’s a bit more than one weeks since I returned from my Taiwan trip (I brought Iris and meimei with me but did not take many photos of them because I was sick and overloaded). After coming back, I worked hard to pick up what I’ve left in my “work,” and of course the buying and selling things. :D

First of all, I have to say a proper “Thank you” to
euro-trash-doll, for her lovely Kitty Helmets!! I only managed to take photos of one of them last weekend but the other is just adorable!

And thanks to
stadt-kind for the lovely vintage skipper--no photo though. :D
Then the less interesing parts!
Upon seeing Ruth’s great works, I decided to start knitting for my girls because those without the helmets seemed unhappy to me. There are yarns, knitting needles, crochet needles awaited for me but I just had no motives before. I started from making two simple hats and they turned out very well so I thought I should sell them instead to raise the fund for a sewing machine-my girl wouldn’t mind the selling: what they want are trying out new outfits and they don’t care even if the outfit’s on for taking photos only and we are drawn dolly clothes! It is really my problem that I should sell most of them. Anyway the newly knitted hats are in fancy yarns-marled in black!! And I think this makes it hard to sell because no one can make out of the style from the pictures!

I find knitting and crocheting more relaxing than sewing to me, so I spend my spare time knitting some poncho. Again they are in fancy yarns (this time snowflakes) but they are fluffy and girly however equally hard to sell them. The problem with me selling dolly outfits is I can never repeat a single item because I will get bored the second time and for the knitting/crocheting, gosh, I keep buying fancy yarns!!
And there’s a small dolly drama happened. I tried to sell my Honey Bunny, with outfits made by me. She was almost sold, for TWICE!!! The first time the potential buyer never got back to me after I gave he buyer my paypal account. I didn’t want to press it further just because my trip was due. Then I post the FS on TIB. This time someone I know (with whom I have several other transactions) and I think this time should be fine!!
But she was opened and then returned to me!!! I cannot do anything because this person hasn’t paid!!
You may want to ask why did I send the doll out without getting the payment first. I thought firstly for someone so active on TIB and with transactions for some times would have no problem. And she flicker-mailed me promptly to arrange the payment the night she said she wanted her, and stressed in three mails sent that night (I remembered, don’t want to read them now of course) that the payment would be sent first thing the next day by direct bank transfer, a method I prefer not to use-oh, yes I did ask her why can’t she pay by paypal or cheques and she’s got her own reasons and assured me that direct deposit is very quick!!
Mind you, she’s very determined to get her judging from these mails. The previous transactions with her weren’t perfect by all means but all done in the end. I did not have much time after Wed so I sent her out on Wed, though before I went to the post office the money hadn’t shown up yet. If she wasn’t that positive about getting her, and I have dealt with her previous, I wouldn’t just send the girl out like this!! Then two days more the payment’s not coming.
I really have no problem waiting for a late payment if a good reason is given. But this person said she couldn’t impose me my kindness of late payment any longer so decided, without asking my opinion, to send her back to me. In this case, wasn’t it her responsibility to not to touch the doll at all? But she opened the box and took her out!! WTF! (sorry I don’t want this initial reaction when I learned this news on Friday.)
So the poor girl came back to me this morning. I am not in the mood to check her and see if she’s exactly as she was when I send her out and as the person claimed. However, everyone has different criterion on what is mint and I am unfortunately that kind of person with a very high standard. What if when I opened her and I find there’s a scratch on her face-that person may not notice this, which is very possible judging from her previous episodes with other people, but it is me who would have to sell a girl less than perfect without any fault lies upon mine. This is just like that stores wouldn’t accept the refund and exchange for dairies even they were bought just 5 mins ago.
I choose not to post this to BDD because it's just a minor episode and I should let go of the bad feelings soon but I hate my trust to be abused and I have to rant on it.
And my girls are still up for sale. Plus two of my Enid Collins box bags (check out ebay item numbers: 130038732311 and 130038736812). I really want to get the sewing machine asap but I’ve promised myself to get the fund from selling only.
