Companion to earlier Untitled Fic

I wrote this as a companion to my earlier piece found Here.  I wrote most of it ahead of time, but I finished/edited during today's fic chat.  I'm still tossing around the idea to write Rei's version of this situation but we'll see.  It's a little WAFF-ier than orginally intended, but it's still a draf.  Please let me know what you think!

That's what happens when you're late to the party ; ). Did you read the first part of this fic? It kind of give hints to who Keiko is and most people were able to guess on the chat based on those clues.

The aunts are unimportant really, they were just tools for Keiko to compare presents that adults give her. There will be a third part that's finally from Rei's POV and possibly a fourth tying everything together.

Will I see the song in CYOA?

I know, I know, snooze, I lose. That's Kaidou's kid??? Really?? They still talk and are on good terms even though...yeah...and....??? All the ellipses and question marks is me kind of gawking because I want more info. Want more Rei and Jadeite, want more about how she and Kaidou are kind of friends even though...yeah...and I want to know about the locket, too, and what it means!

Help the latecomer or just like, post the next part right now!! That would help :P

It very well might! I'm still deciding on whether to bring in a certain person or not.

You are correct. And no, she and Kaidou are definitely not friends. Especially after the events of the first part. He doesn't make an appearance in this part at all.

I'm working tomorrow, so work will be done on the next part likely while the kiddies are doing their assignments. The necklace is familiar because it has made appearances in the manga.

Bring the certain person, the more the merrier (or is that a bad idea?)

I guessed little Keiko as Kaido's kid (and Rei's too, probably?) as soon as she said "Rei always brings her good presents." because that's too obvious. So, am I right, since I was a latecomer to the chat as well??

You need to continue with this idea. Little Keiko is adorable and perceptive and she steals the spotlight; I'd like to see more of her. You also have to tell us more about Rei's thoughts on the events!

You are also correct. Was it really that obvious? So far, I have two follow up parts in mind. I started writing one today (while I was covering a pre-calculus class no less ;)). It's essentially the same event, but from Rei's POV so we'll get to see her thoughts.

The last part (presumably)will tie things together. Hopefully, I'll start on it soon, but the job thing looks to be getting better, so I might have less time to write. We`ll see.

MORE please. I had a sneaking suspicion, which was the same as sugarcross', about who Keiko was. You've got me hooked! I want to know more, lots more!

I'm working on it. It's been a busy couple of days. Actually, after I got sugacross' comment, I realized Keiko shared the same name as the actress who played Rei on PGSM, so I've decided that I did that intentionally.

Initially, they were intended to be the only parts, but due to the positive feedback, I'm glad to continue on with them.
