Fic Chat and One Liners
So I was a little late to today's fic chat and hung out for a bit online with
ramblinprose (Tenebris),
venusorbit1 and
sugarcross . We played the one-line prompt again and I decided to post my results once more. Enjoy! They may or may not be turned into longer ficlets later.
Prompt: Hair Clip
Kunzite fingered the intricate gold piece hidden in his pocket; if anything could convince Minako to get rid of that red ribbon, he was hoping this was it.
Prompt: Fall in the light
The light embraced him, surrounding him and washing away the memories, the pain, the guilt; all he could do was let go and fall into it's warmth.
Prompt: Disco Stick
The disco ball sent shards of light dancing about her form as she gave an experimental swing around the pole, the long dark strands of her hair sweeping across his lap.
Prompt: Secret Desires
Nick shifted uncomfortably, trying to keep the fishnets from strangling certain important parts of his anatomy; if only he hadn't been "distracted" when agreeing to the bet with Zach, he wouldn't be stuck here with a gaggle of women staring at him as though he was parading some secret, sick desire in front of them.
Prompt: "The beating of our hearts is the only sound"
Limbs entangled, their hearts beat in perfect synchronization before starting to fade as their life's blood seeped out onto the cold floor.
Prompt: Lubricant
His wife seemed to vibrate with anger as she waved a small bottle in front of his face, "Zach, what possessed you to cover our child in...this?" "Um, isn't that baby oil?"
Prompt: Cream
Mamoru kept a smile fixed onto his face but inwardly he wanted to beat his head against the swatch covered table; who was really going to care if their new apartment was eggshell, or dove's wing, or "coffee with cream"?
So that was it before we all had to head out. You can probably guess the direction the majority of the conversation by the prompts.
