August Update
Seems like I need to write more, I'm averaging one post a month :P Many things happen and all but they're mostly mundane and not worth sharing. However, I did attend Megaplex a couple weeks ago. Initially it looked like I would not as my brother's wedding was scheduled for the same weekend and I was to be in the wedding party. However it was not to be, as work dicked me around on getting the time off until the price of plane tickets was way beyond what I could afford.
I wasn't really feeling into the con, a first for me, and I just barely stopped by Thursday night and Friday to go to lunch. Just wasn't feeling it, plus was a little sick with a stuffy nose on Friday. Slept the hell in Saturday too, didn't get there until after 12. But once there I had plenty of fun, especially with the Guest of Honor this year. Had some memorable moments. Overall, it was a good con for me, even though I only made it to half of it.
Exciting things on the work front too. A couple people at the sushi bar quit, so they asked me if I was interested... Yep! Zeebah movin' on up! So if anyone stops by Wolfgang's for dinner they just might notice me in rollin' in the sushi bar now! Means a slight change in schedule, learning new stuff and maybe a little extra cha-ching! Had my first two nights there, and will be training the rest of this week. Will see how it goes.
