what a night!
As you all know, it was our 6 months on the tuesday, but we didn't have time to do anything special. So Aydin promised he woudl take me out to a fancy restaraunton friday. So anyways, i come home , had a shower and got all dressed up. We go outside and wait for the bus, and then Aydin decides he wants to go to Denny's for dinner. So I got all dressed up to go to ...Denny's. SO we get there, and he asks me if we want to split something b/c we don't have enough time. I was thinking at this point and i had a feeling he was taking me somewhere after this. So we end up ordering the sampler which is a whole bunch of deep-fried food. I was getting alittle annoyed at this point b/c it was our 6 months, we went to earls and moxies the previous times. SO as we were eating the food, he asks me what time the mall closes. So he made me believe that we were going to the mall. So we end up walking afew blocks, and i'm in heels so my feet are killing me. He promised that he would make it up to me that night. So we end up walking past this school along the way and he asks what is goin goin here. Okay, i am still oblivious at what is going right now b/c i was really upset at this point. So he said that it's probably some teacher/parent interview, and he brings me into the school. I saw some ppl dressed up so i thought he was taking me to the semi formal that was happening tonight. But...BUT!, We got to these doors and Aydin asked if the doors were opening to the public yet. As he was asking i saw a poster that said 'theatre' with the seating arrangments on it. So we walk to the side of the hallway, and i look down. Out of his pocket he pulls two tickets out that said " The Magical Flute". He bought tickets to go see an opera :D. I was so emotional b/c of what happened with dinner and then taking me to go see an opera, i couldn't hold back and i started to cry alittle. It was the sweetest thing. I felt bad though b/c the gift i was going to get him, i couldnt find. He would have appreciated it so much. So tonight, i am going to take him out to a fancy restaraunt ;).
Now keep in mind, he tried everything to make sure i didn'tknow. His friend, who was also going to the opera, was on the same bus as us. aydin left and went to go sit with him, making sure that he didnt' say anything. He made sure the place we went to go eat was walkong distance to Vanier Hall.
SO the play was in German, and they had subtitles above. I got lost acouple times b/c i kept on forgetting to look up to read what it said. It was a pain b/c you want to see what is going on stage, but you got to read the subtitles. But i enjoyed it :). Afterwards, we went to JJ's pug and grill. We got home at aroud 12:30.
So my night turned out really well. HE has given me so many surprises, so i want to do one for him. HIs surprise fro me at christmas time kind of backfired. He bought me a fossil...a trilobite and acouple ppl mentioned about it and i found out. BU ti love it so much. It is so cute :).
School is going good. I got a test comming up. I hand in my first essay on feb 1st which is my MOM"S BIRTHDAY!!! :D :D
Okay, off to go finish shoveling the snow :)! ( snowed about 6 inches )

Wow, i can't believe that i wrote all of this. It's been awhile since i updated.
