I need to catch up...!
Continuing my posts on how people think differently, this one has to do with how people perceive differently.
I notice that when I listen to music, I can either just have it in the background in my mind, or I can focus on specific elements of it. Ordinarily, I follow the lead singer, because that is whence I gain the lyrical information of the music, but after I've known a song for a while I start to pay particular attention to al lthe parts -- each instrument and harmony. I find that I can only ever pay attention to one or at most two instuments at a time. Is it this way with everyone? I am guessing no.
But I'll just ask.... (Note: ">" is HTML code for the "greater than" symbol; it won't show up in drop down boxes, apparently, but it does in the poll results.)
