On a Handy Predictability in (Otherwise Stereotypically Unpredictable) Women

Many of us men complain that women are so unpredictable. It is said that women "are allowed" to change their minds whenever they wish. And then we have emotional roller-coaster-riding. I think that most men prefer constancy.

But having gotten rather close to a particular woman in the last 9 months or so, I think that I am thankful of something for which I never expected I would be thankful. In fact, I expected to fear it. (As a guy, I know that I have no business mentioning the topic on pain of death, so I shan't directly.) But honestly, I really appreciate the predictability that comes every month. With a little bit of day counting, I can be well-prepared for things that otherwise might take me off-guard. I can therefore be more careful and/or more caring. It almost makes up for any other unpredictabilities. Maybe I am just lucky with the particular girl I have, but this oft-feared-by-men acronym is not so bad.
