Well, my latest starting obsession would have to now be declared as Gankutsuou.
I'd watched the first three episodes a while back, but the site I was watching them on didn't have any more working videos after that o__x

It referred to itself as I??!?! I knew this would happen one day! We're all screwed!

*ahem* Your older writing does seem very different from how you write now. You're not alone in that. I cringe when I read my old writing.

See, I told my friend that, and he wasn't concerned and laughed it off. But it's eerie D:

Well, it IS different, no question; I hope I've grown in a positive way. >__> I think the fact that I've only posted fanfics up until now affects it too, because it's writing a different "way", if that makes sense. Different approaches to writing.
Except, when I look at my old writing, I definitely had an overload of details. Oops.

I'll have to agree about the Count ;- jun_i December 4 2009, 22:15:42 UTC
The Kentridge video was very interesting. Thx for sharing. At first, I assumed that it must have been mostly digitally done, with a 'hand drawn' filter applied. But from one of the comments, it seems there was a look of hand drawing involved.

And yeah, I can see why you like Gankutsuou. When I started borrowing the series from the library, it totally had me hooked. It's not often that I encounter a series that makes me want to watch the next DVD right away. This was one of them. As for the Count, it made me think Gonzo recycles their chara designs between series LOL

And the computer system message sounds scary. Is it from the OS? It's hard to imagine any professional software design team getting that sort of phrasing into the system.

As I understand it, it was all completely hand done, and he kept reworking the same drawing over and over again. Insanity o__o

I have the same reaction! I do come across a lot of anime I like/love, but it's not often one just snatches my attention like this XD

And I don't know what's up with my computer...it's concerning.

Maybe try web seraching that error message? jun_i December 6 2009, 22:11:22 UTC
If you haven't already tried it, an online search of the text of the computer's error message might turn out some interesting info. Chances are someone else had that error before and might know what's behind it.
