I seriously had a lump in my throat, I get too emotionally involved with some players, I swear. He looked so tiny and so fragile.
I'm happy we won, of course, but the lack of concentration worries me. I realise they can't play as magically every time as they did against Valencia in the 2nd leg of the Super Copa, but this was too slow and too sloppy.
I've yet to see Gago get injured and I'm sure it's something I probably want to miss. Poor bb, I feel for him, I really do.
Sergio was so amazing, his goal made me smile, especially when Guti came over to hug him; dead. I'm watching the game right now on ESPN Classic (since I was watching the Manchester United game of doom instead of this one. How I regret that choice too.) so not many other comments until I see the rest of the match.
I don't know what happened, suddenly he was sitting on the pitch, looking very tiny and teammates were fussing over him. I swear I love him way too much, I was rather upset when I saw his little face all sad.
Sergio was amazing, his goal was awesome! But all in all the match wasn't very impressive IMHO :/
Am very happy we won, but it should have been 5-0 at least.
Okay just saw it and agreed; so very sad. Poor Gago and Gabriel walking along side him, talking. Aw, poor baby I hope it's not serious I feel so bad.
Sergio always amazes me. I was so excited when I heard that he scored so I waited all close to the tele to see him score and when he did I was just screaming my heart out. Thankfully it's mid afternoon so a lot of people on my floor are in class...where I should be. lol
We should have won by at least 5-0, you're so right. Guti and Robben had multiple chances, not to mention Ruud in the first few minutes and even Raul. Hopefully we've learned something from this game and next game we'll play with the same energy but actually act on our chances and score more.
I just love how everybody was taking care of him XD Gaby and Guti, I think, and Raúl coming up to him as well. That's part of what I love about this team.
Sergio is so adorable when he celebrates after scoring, so genuinely happy. Goodness, I love that boy.
Hopefully we've learned something from this game and next game we'll play with the same energy but actually act on our chances and score more. And not slow down the game when what's needed is a good old fashioned counter. They gave Bate time to set up their defence, which seemed to consist of the entire team *facepalm*
