Had a bad cold, which was very convenient since I didn't want to go to work, LOL.
Eek, I sliced off a bit of skin on my thumb yesterday. Am totally fascinated by the wound...yeah, weird.
Pros and I watched 'Casino Royale' yesterday. I liked it a lot, even though it confused the hell out of me from time to time, probably because the sound quality was bad and it was hard to follow the dialogue (it was a downloaded version, LOL).
Another eek! as I just realised I won't be able to watch the Euro 2008 qualifier Northern - Ireland vs SWEDEN on Wednesday, because I'll be in Vienna with no internet. OMFG.
My Swedes are the only team who have won every match so far *is proud*
Which brings me to...look who has decided to grace the blue-yellow with his presence...*snark*
After being absent after his little fuck-up last year (sneaking out after curfew to a nightclub then acting like a spoiled brat when he got caught) and even declaring he retired from the national team (at 24, the silly arse), Ibra's back...and I'm ashamed to say I think we need him.
Our saviour Marcus Allbäck isn't 100% fit. Markus Rosenberg tries hard but does he really have it in him to be the SuperSwede we need?
Henke Larsson cannot be persuaded to return to the national team. Johan Elmander is in form, thank goodness.
Even though I personally favour Allbäck, who has proved his worth and has tons of experience, I think that against Northern - Ireland we need a forward like Ibra. He's tall, strong and fast, has a sixth sense for goals and gives great assists. Plus he's on fire at Inter *spits*.
So I'm hereby sending Ibra some Swedish LOVE, instead of picking on him like I usually do. Give us a win. Give us 15 points out of 5 matches.
Then, in my fantasy, 'Mackan' Allbäck comes in for the last 20 minutes and scores yet another brilliant goal for us :D
I &hearts Mackan, he's from my hometown of Göteborg *pets him*
Ooooooh and my man is injured O_O
He was back in training yesterday though. Poor Freddie suffered a blow on his knee last weekend, but he's a tough cookie as we all know. He told Swedish press he'd play with pain, because hey, that's football.
Oh captain, my captain.
How awful is it that Sweden and Spain are in the same group? Ugh.
