And he shouldn't be here but surely it couldn't hurt to get a single coffee? He received an employee discount here, even, for the work he did on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights.
It's not a bad deal.
So he gets his coffee and is leaving the shop when a shock of blue hair catches his attention.
A pause. ...]
...
[...it's his own face, isn't it? Looking down at that newspaper.]

... Just going to get his food here and (curiously, is that a packed lunch? Looks like a bento actually) begin eating, entirely unbothered.
Seriously, maybe his medication dose was too high or something, this probably isn't really happening. All the same... ]
... Do I have something on my face?
[ It's a deadpan question; inquiring, not so much the insult or snap it could be. If he is annoyed, it is hard to tell. ]

Not at all. I apologize if I stared; you look like someone I know.
[Aka the face I stare into in the mirror every morning.]

But then, anyone would've heard the news lately. Apathy Syndrome on the rise, he was certain, was probably the Shadow's work.
Not that it concerned him.
Nothing much concerned him at the moment. As such, he will casually eat his lunch. ]
Right now, all I really want to know is which one of us is the doppelgänger.
[ Because really, the likelihood of someone else sounding like him, looking like him, and all of that? ... Just plain unlikely. ]

On his way in, he passed by Minato and spared him a bit of a glance before continuing on.
Now that he's on his way back out, finding the boy still sitting there, he's a bit surprised. The cardboard tray carries two coffee cups - he wasn't quite sure why Mitsunari wanted two, but there they were - and what seemed to be a... Mocha Caramel Frappucino. Oh Starbucks, what couldn't they do. Also a grilled cheese sandwich. Because Starbucks now serves grilled cheese sandwiches too, ayup.
Still though, he's a friendly guy. He can't just keep walking after seeing the same person in the same position in the same afternoon-
So he doesn't. Instead, he pauses and tilts his head curiously, a grin set on his face.]
That must be an awfully interesting

And he really didn't.
Especially not with people he doesn't know who aren't related to why he's here at all; paranoia was an irritating, but useful state of being for them. ]
... Not really.
[ Old news is old, he's hardly surprised, perhaps a little amused. La la la obituaries~ Oh hey that one is one of theirs from the last Dark Hour.
Not that you'd notice, what with the lack of any expression going on here. ]

Ah? Then I wonder why it still has your attention!
Reply
It doesn't. ... I'm finished, anyway.
[ And so he is. He folds the newspaper up, sitting it there on the table the same way he'd gotten it. Neat, orderly. ]
There wasn't anything really interesting.
[ Because he knew all of this already. ]

...Revenge Request. Heh, pretty unbelievable, huh?

Maybe that was for the better. ... But it's kind of hard for him to keep the discontentment off his face when a member of SEES is talking to him so casually. ]

Clink. ]
... That depends on if you think it's just an urban legend.
[ Motioning to the newspaper. He may as well play along for now, right? ]
You don't believe in it?

To those that knew Aigis, it was painfully obvious for whom. Her young, blue-haired companion who was always at her side (or was she at his..?) was no where to be found, and the look of sheer urgency resting on her face only added to that thought process.
She was looking for Minato.
She'd like to think the reason she so diligently was searching for him, was to protect him and, though that was part of it, it was mainly just... her missing him. Her side was empty--bare, even--without him. Aigis needed Minato by her side now or-- or--
She didn't really know.
So you can imagine her relief and shock as she turned the corner and saw Minato in question sitting, drinking coffee, reading. Aigis wasn't selfish enough to think 'why doesn't he miss me?' or 'why isn't he searching for me'. Rather--she is, quite simply, truly happy to have found him.
Maybe that was an upside to being a robot. She was so inhuman that she can only process one emotion at a time. ]
I've been searching. [ She states, as she approaches him, ( ... )

He doesn't plan to hang around regardless of what she is (mistakenly) thinking. He gets up then and there, grabs his coat, and leaves quickly.
Outside the mall as fast as he can possibly get.
To somewhere with much fewer people. Hopefully he'll have lost her. He wasn't looking to get into a skirmish in broad daylight, with anyone from SEES, particularly their robot. ]

[ And of course, the natural instinct is to go directly after him, but... Aigis can't help be wonder what seemed to upset him. Was it something he read..?
Quickly, she scans over the open page on the newspaper, pausing only a second to deliberate if that's what angered him. Perhaps he's frustrated with the Revenge Request case? Perhaps he knew someone involved..?
Having no time to mull over it further, Aigis quickly chases after Minato's trail. Whether he wanted to see her or not, it was her job to protect and watch over him, which is exactly what she planned to do. Of course, she tracks him down easily due to her being, well, a robot, but instead of reaching out and grabbing him, she just shouts. ]
Minato! Please, wait!

... You.
[ He's caught his breath quickly. He holds his ground. He doesn't pull out his pistol yet, but his hand is in the pocket of that long coat, grasping it, ready. Waiting. ]
What do you want? Why are you after me?

... He is trying to maintain some amount of decency, so as not to ruin her shift. Yes, he's just that considerate. ]
... No thanks.
[ This is my pokerface. But he'll wait until she's done her shift, he thinks, to confront her. ]

Minami is unaware of this and even makes a point of not thinking too hard about anything but her job while on the job. She gives him a bright smile as she stands straight from offering him more.]
All right, in that case are there pastries or anything else you'd like or are you okay? Oh! I'm supposed to let everyone outside know we're giving out free samples of the chocolate swirl cheesecake inside for the rest of the workday!
Reply
No, I'm fine. I'll be leaving now, actually.
[ And true to his word, he gathers his things and leaves. Though, in actuality, he really just is going to wait around the mall until she comes out. ]
