Whether you voted or didn't.
Like who won or not.
We have a new president and it is the job of us as a nation to put aside our feelings on who this man is and come together to work for the betterment of us all. Offer support, get involved in your community and do your part to what you can for our country.
Yesterday history was made. I'll admit for myself I haven't felt the magnitude of how ground breaking it was, it won't be one of those days that goes down in history for me but I am smart enough to know that for MANY of my fellow Americans (African American and any Minority) it did mean something very important. Yes it is kind of intimidating in some small way to have this (preceved) shift in cultural power but perhaps it may be just what this country needs. If this morning a young minority child realises that the dream he/she had of being president (or anything grand) that had been previously shot down by people is actually possible, imagine the effect that could have on our youth.
A movement, a revolution may have been started by Brack Obama's win.
I didn't vote yesterday. I neither of the canditates really moved me and I figured as long as I don't vote I have no right to complain. I will however go into the next 4 years with a possitive outlook knowing that things happen for a reason (good and bad) and we as a nation need to come together for change not put it on one man.
