Crap Fair Art! (and the prizes I win for them.)
I acually won Judge's choice for this one & first prize also, i've moved up from last year. This is the one I did 'specially to enter in the fair. The picture is from Tara's "Horses & Women" book I thiefed from her, the book has a lot of good photos in it & i'm planning on doing more paintings from it.
My Gackt painting, I got first place for this as well. I went and fixed it up finally before entering it. There were a bunch of scratches and waterspots on it when it shipped up to Alaska so I repaired those and finally "finished" the hair. His bangs always bugged me... they still do.
Honorable Mention, what the crap?! Acually its not my best work so I don't care that much. I just had to throw it in because you're only allowed 1 entry per category and only 3 entries total, and I diddnt have time to do a new "mixed media" composition. Meh. Maybe next year.
