You sing our song, and wonder who we are, you ride the winds, and wish upon a star, you're seeking solace, a place to find a home, you wonder if this house is the heart to cease your roam. All along your quest you've felt the pain of a fall, you dust off your knees like it was never even there at all. In the panicked edge of flight you're hiding from the night, and reaching for this light. We have a door that's open, a fire safe and warm, but the couches near the flames often stand alone. In this chilling crystal winter we try to heal the pains of all that precious life caught naked in the rain.
It's about sacrifice. It's about dreams. Will you let someone rip and stomp your heart just to watch it bleed? Where there is worth, that's where we fight; some must exist who will steal back the night. Darkness makes a hero, we've all been battered and bruised, but our shadows make us stronger as we thrust our fists and choose, we've learned to fight for our goodness, despite what we might loose. The proud and brave lions, we stand on both sides of the teeth, the pain makes us stronger, our goals easier to reach. We wash our hearts with tears, without we'd go insane, fighting forever but you need to ease the pain. Stand up straight, wands outstretched, your mother's dead; his' depressed. For freedom, for soul, for laughter, for light, for love, for control, for passion, for the right, we stand and fight to take back the night.
