In which Socks is planning on doing something wonderfully stupid for his birthday.
If luck and a good set of tires allows it, a couple friends and I are going to travel across North America this weekend, from Edmonton to (hopefully) a couple meters into Mexico. That's roughly 6000 kilometers both ways. In under three days. I mean, why not?
Anyway, we're probably going to take the I-15 down into Southern California and to those who still happen to pay any attention to this journal and who also happen to live in the western United States, I ask you: are there any interesting sites to see along that stretch of highway? As much as we would like to accomplish the entire trip down to the Mexican border in under 35 hours, a few detours here and there would be nice.
