For being the last weekend in S-Dub before I go back, it wasn't so eventful and the majority was not even spent in the proximity of S-Dub.
Friday night was chillin with my work girlies who are totally awsome and make me laugh tons and tons-ohhh the plans for my future (see you all in Virginia! ;-))
Then Saturday I headed up to S-bridge with the fam to see the encampment/reenactment thing that was going on....just because I don't get enough of it during the week-lol...But it actually was rather cool-my parents got to meet a lot of the peeps I work with and there were tons of visitors which was very good...the mock battle was a riot-we got our asses handed to us by the Marines of 1812-oh the joys of OSV ;-)
Then we came home and went to my grandparents for a bit to see my Uncle and his fam from Colorado-woo....
Sat night and Sunday was spent with John up in the Woo for his real last weekend up in the house-we did a little b-day celebration and another wonderful breakfast in the park...he is one of the greatest and sweetest guys that I know...
This is my last week at OSV and that is really making me sad-I didn't think it would and I know another week (well 1/1 week) with Marie is going to make me crazy, but I really have gotten so used to everything and everyone that I will miss it...Who knows if i'll go back for winter stuff or come back next summer, but I would really like to....Of course I'll miss the fam and everything too.
I just have this weird feeling that junior year is going to be crazy and big and so many things are going to change and happen-kind of like a creepy haunting preminition hanging over me...I know i'm just really anxious about going back and all that goes with it, but still i think its going to be quite the year....
This summer has been so much sweeter and better than I could have even expected. Work went better than i thought it would and i even made new friends there. I learned how to belly dance. I learned how to do countless activites at work (which will be listed at a later date just so you can all see how cool i am :-P) and I have had more fun at the beach in one day with one special guy than i have had in a very long time. So many wonderful days of lounging in the sunshine in the park or making meals or going to denny's with drunk guys and playing beruit up on the pergola...it has truly been a splendid summer with so many wonderful memories made. I'm pretty sure i'm going to need them to get me through the chaos of this upcomming year.
To my friends, I love you all.
g'night.
