I'll probably make one of my own soon since I just started "tracking" NEWS recently. I've had some of their songs on my ipod ever since I discovered JE almost a year ago. But, like you, I fell in love with NEWS after watching their concert DVDs a few months ago.
But I have to say that I agree with you about Ryo and Last Friends. I think out of all the roles I've seen him play-- I wouldn't be surprised if he's most like Sousuke in real life. And not to bash him or anything, but I also don't find him that interesting as a person xD Judging by his individual interviews, guestings, or even j-web entries. But he is super attractive *__* I feel myself melting everytime I watch the Hoshi wo Mezashite PV.
As for Tegoshi... maybe he'll grow on you? xD I absolutely adore him.. although most of his behavior is quite irritating if you look at it objectively. He must have this magic charm that has already seduced me.
But I'm glad you think positive of Shige =3 He's my favorite and the one that got me hooked on NEWS.
hehehe, ill make sure to read ur post. abt ryo and last friends and his interviews, u totaly read my mind, i hated the fact he has poison tounge , but the smile he makes sometimes always force me to smile too, maybe ill post apic of that killing smile on my journal someday to see what im saying here lol. abt tegoshi... i didnt quite understand what u saying that>> "he will grow on u??">> can u explain plz XD. then shige is the most funny guy there>> although he looks sometimes(sometimes) girly[and i hate this btw] but his totaly handsome by my opinion(specially when he acted as kenta sinpai in papa to musume no nanokakan) lol.
I just mean that there's something about Tegoshi that makes him irresistibly adorable despite his spoiled "brattiness", his ero tendencies, and his God complex xD So maybe eventually you can look past those things enough to "like" Tegoshi. I dunno.
Well... I think its rare to find a relatively masculine guy in JE, but if I were to make a list Shige would definitely be on it. And I loved Kenta sempai xD It's a shame that he's not more popular because I would love to see him in another drama.
Though I have to say that one of the things I love most about Shige is his writing. Have you read any of his essays?
