Part 11
Title: day at the beach
Volume 3
We reached our place, and tegoshi looked to us saying:”keiichan … wheres the drinks”
Koyama:”eehhh, I forgot , ill go bring them” and he left. Yamapi followed him saying:”wait for me ill go with you”
He went after koyama, and left the three of us looking to each other. Tegoshi looked at me saying:”since he forgot to buy the drinks, what were you tow doing anyway?”
I got shocked to the way he was asking, my face turned red to the thoughts he had in his mind…
Light:”eehh, uhmmm”
Tegoshi:”yea… come on tell me, what were you tow doing?”.. my face was getting redder by the moment..
Light:”nothing really, just talking”
Tegoshi:”really , hahahahaha I doubt it”, massu was holding a big laugh inside him, but his face was telling how much was he enjoying tegoshi’s teasing to me.
I gave massu a plea look to help me against tegoshi, he got what I wanted and said to change the subject…
Massu:”ne~ , why nishikido kun didn’t come with yamashit kun?”
Tegoshi:”yea I thought they will come together, maybe he has some other work, as usual”
Massu’s try was successful, and tegoshi was distracted to another subject. We talked a little bit about the weather, the swimming, and about the new song of NEWS.
While we were talking , koyama and yamapi came back with the drinks. Koyama handed me a small bag, I opened it to find that he bought me some medicines. I looked to him, he said:”its for your fever “
Light:”ohh, im ok, you shouldn’t bother buying them”
Koyama:”no , don’t underestimate the fever, its dangerous, and you should take midecine for it, come on there is bottle of water too”
I hesitated a bit, but tegoshi said..
Tegoshi:”lighto chan, you do look sick, this is a common medicine, everyone take it when they feel the fever”
I took the medicine under koyama’s demand, while the others looked to me.
Yamap said to start a conversation…
Yamapi:”so tell me guys, what did I miss?”
Tegoshi:”ohh you missed my pranks on koyama hahaha”
Koyama:”yea but I got back on you double, isn’t that right masuda kun”
Masuda laughed then said:”yea, he pulled me to help him , but he didn’t need any help he buried tegoshi’s face in the sands all by himself, koyama kun sometimes scares me”
We laughed a lot, and yamapi said:”ohh koyama is usually sweet, but not to tegoshi kun, … you tow do pranks on each other a lot”
Koyama:”he starts it, so he deserve what will happen after”
Suddenly , like yamashita remembered something.. he said:”there is someone missing.. where is shige?”
We all looked to each other, and I had a certain look with koyama, because we were the only tow who knew exactly why he was absent..
Masuda:”I don’t know, he was walking with jamee chan but I don’t know where they are now”
Tegoshi:”maybe somewhere private”
We looked to tegoshi, and koyama was giving him a warning look. He smiled when yamapi asked him:”what do you mean?”
Tegoshi:”I don’t know..lets just wait to see”
Yamapi looked to koyama, but koyama ignored yamapi’s wondering look and said:”nee~ minna, lets eat lunch, masuda kun , mom made you your favorite gyoza, look in the basket , your name is on the box”
Massu said happily:”really, thank you very much”
Yamapi:”are not we at least going to wait for them to come back”
Koyama:”they will eat when they come back don’t worry about them”
Koyama and massu put the lunch boxes in the middle and opened them. We ate lunch silently, the only one who said something was massu
Massu:”ahhhh ~oishiiiiii, thank your mom for me keiichan, its soo delicious”
Koyama gave him a smile and kept silent, I finished fast, I didn’t have any appetite. Then I went for a walk by the beach. I felt that I should leave them alone for a while maybe they want to talk about things and since im the only girl, they kept silent. At least they can joke with each other more freely without girl among them. I walked slowly near the sea, the sea waves’ sound always relax me, and give me some sad feelings. I will miss those days when I get back home, few minutes passed before I saw shige and jamee. They were near but they didn’t notice me, so I hided fast behind a huge umbrella(those ones which ppl put beside the beach on the sand and lay under them) .
I didn’t want them to see me, for not ruing the atmosphere for them. They walked in front of the umbrella I was hiding behind and I could hear them talking…
Jamee:”really, I want to go there someday, it sounds exciting..”
Shige:”ohh yeaa, lets plan for a trip to there next winter. Its really fun out there”
Jamee:”wow.. I cant wait, lets invite NEWS too”
Shige didn’t reply directly, but then he said:”yea why not”
Then their voices was too low for me to hear as they were walking away from my place, I stood and traced them with my eyes all the time. Finally I saw yamapi walking forward to them as they were near our original place. So their private thing is ended now, and they are gonna face a lot of questions. But I figured out that she must have responded to his feelings, that means that massu is mine now, and I will go after him. No specific rival now. I was smiling happily, but then frowned fast for the next thought I had about going home soon. One minute passed before I heard a voice behind me…
Tegoshi:”BUHH…”
I jumped and looked back to see tegoshi behind me laughing a lot. I gave a mad look, and slapped him lightly on his shoulder. He smiled and said..
Tegoshi:”you looked funny, smiling really big then frowning, what was you thinking of, im soo curious to know”
I said in an angry voice..
Light:”it has nothing to do with you, leave me alone”
I left him and went back to our place, he followed me saying:”come on don’t get mad, I was joking”
I didn’t reply to him. We reached our spot, while yamapi was saying..
Yamapi:”ahhh, cool we must go there now, before we miss it”
Light:”what you are talking about yamashita san?”
Yamapi:”shige and jamee found a small festival near that place”he pointed for me to the place he meant. I looked there while he continued:”they said, that they were there all the time, and theres a lot of fun events there”
Light:”ohh really, sounds exciting”
Shige:”yea, they will hold a fireworks event soon, right after the sunset”
I looked to him smiling and said:”ahh, really”
So they weren’t ready enough to spell about their new relationship. So they brought this thing up.
It was almost sunset already, the day passed so fast. I said:”ok lets go there, I want to watch the fireworks”
They all agreed with me, but they didn’t notice that I gave jamee special look made her blushing. I smiled then stood up to go and they all did the same.
We all went together, but got separated in three groups while we were walking, we were as follow… shige and jamee and yamapi, which made shige looked annoyed. Then it was me and masuda, then koyama and tegoshi were smacking each other behind us. I felt so happy to be beside massu as a coincidence. I looked to him, he was so cute from aside, he noticed that I was looking and asked:”ehh, lighto chan, is there anything on my face?”
Light:”eehh, no no I was looking to that cute little girl there”and I pointed randomly, thank god there was a little girl where I pointed. He looked and smiled saying:”how cute..”
I sighed in low voice, I was saved. Then I said to change the subject..
Light:”ne~ …”suddenly I got hit by some kids were running beside us and fall on massu. he held me with his arms as a reaction. I blushed really hard, it was the first time for me to be this close to him.
Light:”im … im… sorry”, I said while I was standing again with his help. My face was red, but my heart was dancing happily inside me.
Massu:”its ok..” he said smiling.
This thing made me forget all the words in the world. I forget what I wanted to say 1 second ago. We completed our way silently.
We reached the place and stood waiting for the fireworks. Few minutes passed before it started. It was really cool and slow, then it got more fast and noisy. Me headache increased hugely with the high level sounds. I felt like hearing bombs around me. I closed my ears, I couldn’t tolerate the sounds. My ears usually gets more sensitive when I have a headache. It didn’t take long time, but it seemed long to me. After the fire works we got back, and packed our stuff to go back home. It was really full day. We all were exhausted. Massu and tegoshi went back in yamapi’s car. While shige and jamee went together. So me and koyama. When we arrived home, I was feeling so tired to the extent I couldn’t hold my laptop bag with me upstairs. I barely managed reaching my room, and I didn’t bother changing my clothes at all. My threw my exhausted body on the bed, and I drowned in a deep sleep in the first moment.
In the morning, I woke up feeling like my bed is circling. I wasn’t able to see clearly, I couldn’t even raise my head. I had work to go to, but I wasn’t feeling my legs either, I stayed in bed for a while trying to concentrate and pull myself together. I didn’t think that my body will fail me this fast; I needed just three days more to finish my work. After several minutes, I dragged myself out of bed. Before reaching the door, the headache got worse so badly, I put my hands over my head sides, it was like a hammer smacking it, and that was the last thing I felt before I blacked out.
