Not enough YAY in the world!

Question: When prompt claiming comes around, can we claim back a prompt we submitted ourselves?

Not a mod, but I wrote for two prompts that I submitted last year, so: Yes, as long as they haven't been claimed by two people before you sign up.

What minkhollow said. :-) Yes, that's fine, as long as it hasn't already been claimed twice when you sign up.

I love this 'thon. I'm so glad it's up and running again this year.

Question: I claimed two prompts last year, but was only able to finish one. May I reclaim the other and finish it this year?

Yes, that's fine; resubmit it as a new prompt, and as long as it hasn't already been claimed twice when you sign up, you can claim it again.

This sounds awesome. :)

Question: Does this definition of LGBT include asexuality? I'd love to see some fic dealing with it.

Thanks!

For this fest we'd like to focus specifically on the experience of being LGBT, rather than on the more general experience of having a minority sexual orientation. So we're not including asexuality unless a character also identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. queerlygen over on DW is a wider fest/community including sexual minority characters of all kinds, and you might look there for some stories about asexual characters.

Are RPF/RPS prompts &/or stories ok here?

ETA: Looking at the tags, I see that they are. Nevermind! I am obviously not awake.
