I know nothing of this Yuletide you have spoken of, but I have loved it. I've enjoyed the recs. The Brandon GQ one was greatness, and I liked some of the others, too. (Cutting Edge, Breakfast Club)

I think I may have to play here next year!

It's a story exchange project dedicated to small/obscure fandoms. Firefly was on it a while back but it got big enough to disqualify. This was my first year playing in it and, as you can tell, I had an absolute blast. More than 2400 stories were posted.

There's a lot of squee-ing and a sense of gleeful abandon in the community, and the one vid I saw posted (and linked) was based on the idea of one-night stands with fandoms you don't normally write.

I will be doing it next year.
