(no subject)
I had a dream I tested positive for HIV the other night, from an ex boyfriend of mine from a long time ago. It was so real and horrifying and life changing. The guy didn't even care. He knew he was positive as well but couldnt afford the medications, and didn't tell anyone he was hooking up with about it. I was taking so many medications and was nearly incapacitated by the side effects (nausea, diarrhea, headaches..etc). And I'm never having a romantic relationship with another person again, turns out.
In happier news, its christmas! It's so good to be home. I actually have food, and can get around fairly painlessly (instead of planning my outings around the weather/parking abilities in the city). My dog follows me around EVERYWHERE. I baby him, though, and I'm the only one that lets him up on the couch in the family room. He lies at my feet. Like right now. It's annoying sometimes, but cute.
I watched love actually today. I didn't know it was three hours long. Hm. It was on TV so there were some parts cut out. It's so funny how sexual things aren't allowed on TV. Maybe I'm just a hippie. So far I've watched that, A Christmas Story, the Grinch (cartoon), A Christmas Carol, aand.. I think that's it. I think we'll watch Elf tomorrow and maybe we can find Charlie Brown Christmas on tv or something. We have the album and have been listening to it all day--Katie picks songs that she likes and puts them on repeat for HOURS. So irriating, you dont know how many songs she's killed for me. I get my mom to intervene though. I make her change it to James Taylor. I love James Taylor.
I'm going to NYC! Yay! And my dad bought me a train ticket (Acela!) with his frequent miles thing from work. A free train ride there and back, AND its first class. And I get to see Dan!! And Bill, Monica, Jimbob, Mary and hopefully Gabby. Excellent. I'm super pumped. Any suggestions on where I should go?? We're going clubbing Friday night I believe, but it has to be 19+ unfortunately.. Anything during the day?
Hopefully I'll get to play with Gigi and JT tonight :) Then off to midnight mass. Sweet. Merry Christmas!!
