Book list for 2010
Today is a day for lists, I think. So here is a list of all the books I have either already read in 2010 or are currently reading (or attempted to read but didn't like), followed by a rating. These are roughly in the order than I read them (I think).

1. Jurrasic Park - Michael Crichton 3/5 (don't know why I've never read this before)

4. Lord of Chaos (Wheel of Time 6) - Robert Jordan 4/5
5. A Crown of Swords (Wheel of Time 7) - Robert Jordan 4/5
6. The Path of Daggers (Wheel of Time 8) - Robert Jordan 4/5
7. The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger 3/5 (I thought this one was okay but not as good as people make it out to be)
8. The Devil Wears Prada - Lauren Weisberger 1/5 (incomplete, couldn't stand all the diologue)
9. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll 3/5 (I feel like I should rate these higher because they're classics but oh well)
10. Through the Looking Glass - Lewis Carroll 3/5
11. Interview With the Vampire (Vampire Chronicles 1) - Anne Rice 3/5 (Loved the premise, thought it could have been better)
12. Atonement - Ian McEwan 4/5 (great, yet depressing)
13. The Gunslinger (Dark Tower 1) - Stephen King 5/5 (can't wait to read this whole series)
14. Salem's Lot - Stephen King 4/5 (One of my favourites from King now)
15. Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov 5/5 (beautiful prose even if the topic is disturbing)
16. Winter's Heart (Wheel of Time 9) - Robert Jordan 4/5
17. Crossroads of Twilight (Wheel of Time 10) - Robert Jordan 4/5
18. Paint it Black - Janet Fitch 3/5 (somewhat disappointed in this because I LOVED White Oleander)
19. Steppenwolf - Hermann Hesse 5/5 (definitely need to re-read this one)
20. At First Sight - Nicholas Sparks 1/5 (incomplete, remind me to never attempt to read anything by Sparks ever again)
21. Knife of Dreams (Wheel of Time 11) - Robert Jordan 4/5
22. Perdido Street Station - China Mieville 5/5 (I didn't like it as much while reading but looking back I loved it. Need to re-read)
23. The Last Unicorn - Peter S. Beagle - 5/5 (omg loved the cartoon when I was a kid, and I still love this book even now)
24. The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde 4/5 (great classic, I love Wilde. Too bad this is the only book he wrote)
25. The Gathering Storm (Wheel of Time 12) - Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson 5/5 (wow! Sanderson did a great job taking over)
26. The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho 4/5 (cute little story but again, not deserving of all the hype it got)
27. Kushiel's Dart (Kushiel's Legacy 1) - Jacqueline Carey 4/5 (I liked this a lot more than I thought I would)
28. Palimpsest - Catherynne M. Valente 2/5 (ugh, not worth reading. And so WEIRD!)
29. New Spring (Wheel of Time 0) - Robert Jordan 3/5 (prequel of the series. It was okay)
30. The Book Thief - Markus Zusak 4/5 (Really loved this one! I'd like to read more from Zusak)
31. The English Patient - Michael Ondaatje 4/5 (Need to watch the movie someday!)
32. Elantris - Brandon Sanderson 5/5 (First read of Sanderson's after WoT 12, Loved it! Love Sanderson so so much!)
33. The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger 2/5 (Should have read this in high school or something, Pretty annoying at this age)
34. The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold 3/5 (Meh. It was alright, I guess)
35. Kushiel's Chosen (Kushiel's Legacy 2) - Jacqueline Carey 5/5 (This one was better than the first one)
36. Understanding Exposure - Bryan Peterson 5/5 (wow, I learned a TON from this book! I should buy it someday)
37. Kushiel's Avatar (Kushiel's Legacy 3) - Jacqueline Carey 5/5 (I liked this trilogy but not sure if I'll read the others)
38. Siddhartha - Hermann Hesse 3/5 - (not really what I expected, but worth a read)
39. Mistborn: The Final Empire (Mistborn 1) - Brandon Sanderson 5/5 (EE I loved these so much! Great characters)
40. The Well of Ascension (Mistborn 2) - Brandon Sanderson 4/5 (weakest of the 3 but still great)
41. The Hero of Ages (Mistborn 3) - Brandon Sanderson 5/5
42. Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy 1) - Robin Hobb 5/5 (New favourite author! Hobb is awesome!)
43. Assassin's Quest (Farseer Trilogy 2) - Robin Hobb 5/5
44. Royal Assassin (Farseer Trilogy 3) - Robin Hobb 5/5
45. The Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicle 1) - Patrick Rothfuss 5/5 (Hello, watch out! Awesome new author. Fabulous book)
46. Warbreaker - Brandon Sanderson 5/5
47. Ship of Magic (Liveship Traders 1) - Robin Hobb 5/5 (Wasn't expecting to like this one because it was about pirates but I LOVED it!)
