Here is yet another dumb poem of mine, which I wrote instead of doing what I was supposed to be doing.. (studying for the stupid MPT). Forgive me if it doesn't make much sense or rhyme very well.
I Hate Math:
How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways.
Math is the sort of discipline,
Which displays my lack of talent,
Much to my chagrin,
As an improficient student.
For myself, I must confess,
I'd rather take a course,
Something that won't depress,
Like biology or chem.
All forms of arithmetic
From basic to complex,
Leave me feeling pathetic
And wanting to break necks.
From decimals to fractions,
For algebra and trig,
Don't expect reactions
For I couldn't give a fig.
Ask me to solve a riddle,
I'll bravely face your wrath,
Or learn to play the fiddle,
Anything, but math!
I don't think you realize,
How serious I am.
Listen when I advise,
Don't speak of it again.
I can't think of anything worse,
Than this thing I really hate,
It's as bad as any curse,
I'd much rather eat a snake.
So if you want to annoy me,
You have the perfect ammunition.
Just mention multiplication
Or doing long division.
But I should give you warning,
If you mention a denominator,
I really can't help but forming
Into the terminator.
And if I have to factor,
Just one more darn equation,
There is going to be some trouble,
Maybe even an assassination.
It could be my attempts are feeble
To make you to understand,
Just how very disagreeable
Math is to my right hand.
It causes many feelings,
All of them revolt.
From having any dealings,
Or becoming a math dolt.
So thank you but no thanks,
I think I'd rather pass,
I don't care if I make mistakes,
Tell math to kiss my ass.
