(no subject)
So it has been awhile since my last entry...I'm sorry. I have been busy with work, school, and talking to/spending time with Kara. I am writing tonight because I have time finally. I went to school today, even work. I didn't have too much fun at either, but you know how school and work are. I just started spring quarter this week, and I think it is going to be a tough one. Anatomy and Physiology is going to be tougher than shit, but it is VERY interesting. Maybe if the cop thing doesn't work out I will be a physical therapist or something. The other class is Physical Anthropology...The teacher is VERY smart, and she seems really nice, and the subject is interesting too. It is just that it is sooo dry of a subject that as interesting as it is, it is BORING! Finally, my last class in Multicultural Diversity, a Criminal Justice core class. Again, VERY interesting, and as racist/prejudice as some of my friends think I am, I am NOT. Some things I agree with very much, and others I find to be total bullshit. I do think it is a class that would help anyone with their prejudices, whether you think you have some or not, everybody does. Anyways, that is school this new quarter in a nutshell.
Work is getting better. It was good for me not to work over spring break and get away from the pool. I really enjoyed my time off, and the time off was well needed. I spent spring break here at home and also down in Vancouver with Kara's family. They are sooo nice. Her Dad is a really nice guy...but he isn't afraid to let you know that Kara is Daddies Girl. Her mom is also very nice. She seemed interested in what I had to say, and unlike past mothers I have dealt with, she is very easy to get along with. Then there are her sisters...Lindsay is a typical high schooler, full of energy and just like any other girl, boy crazy. Emily reminds me of my little cousin, so I thought she was sooo cute! Quite the card player too.
Kara is good. Things are slowing down and I think we are both getting into our grooves now. So everything is going well there. I just look forward to every time I get to see her! Anyways, I am sure I will have more later. I hope all is well with everyone else!
