Circuit 3 [backdated to christmas]

Dec 30, 2009 10:26

I know I haven't been here long, but I wanted to say... thank you, to those who gave me gifts. [She's not used to getting them, though she and her robot friend would get small things for each other near christmas. They were usually useful rather than gift-like, however.

Since she only knows a few people, but felt obligated to get them gifts, here ( Read more... )

#shockwave, commentlog, i made an effort, gifts, audio post, #ironhide, #razer, christmas time!

[Razer is walking through the snow wondering who the hell thought this was a good idea. It's freaking cold. Cold is not fun. What the hell, people celebrate this?

He turns to look back at his footprints in this horrid white mess just as he turns a corner.

And there's a Rfena.

Oops.]

[Snow is not much of a bother for Rfena, although it makes walking a bit difficult. She's not paying attention either, preoccupied with still digging through the toolkit Shockwave gifted her with.

So she doesn't even notice the tall pointy eared man that is Razer until she runs smack dab into him.

She's startled enough that she puts her hands up in case one of them falls, dropping the toolkit.]

[Razer manages not to fall, although his stumble back through the snow is rather spectacular, and he's going to come out of it freezing and soaked. He turns, fully expecting to yell DOWN at whoever ran into him--it wasn't his fault, clearly--and is more than a little surprised to find Rfena still on her feet.

How is a girl a good foot smaller than him so solid?]

You should learn to watch where you are going.

[Rfena winces when Razer stumbles back - oh, that's not good - and at the expression on his face when he turns to her.

...wait, his voice sounds familiar. Is this the guy who called her a little girl? She does have excellent memory.

So she's not as sympathetic as she could be.]

Sorry. Didn't see you come around the corner. [She leans down to grab the toolkit.] Though how come you didn't see me?

I was...preoccupied. The snow is rather deep, if you hadn't noticed, and I was trying to avoid getting completely soaked.

[His expression flattens and he perches a hand on his hip.]

You did a fine job of making that attempt an absolute failure, obviously.

You could invest in some snowshoes, or simply change your clothes. [Though maybe he only wears one outfit or something, who knows.

And she raises an eyebrow at his pose.]

Because I blend in so well.

[Bright. Red. Hair.]

Oh please, as if I would be caught dead in snowshoes. Precursors.

And these happen to be the warmest clothes I have at the moment. I had intended to go pick out something better before heading back to my room.

And you may note the blind corner at my back.

[Bitch.]

Normally you'd be caught dead without them, but this is hardly normal.

You might want to think about a snow coat first.

[She deliberately looks around him, and then at him.] Maybe I should have been paying attention, but so should you. And have been going a little slower.

[Ass.]

Sorry, there is this little thing called physics which denotes that someone of my size carries more momentum than someone of your size--

[He waves a hand below his collarbone to denote her height.]

--so you can hardly blame me for the fact that my walk is faster and heavier than yours.

[He gives a single derisive scoff.]

Well, you could, but it would make you look like an idiot.

[Of course she knows what physics is, and has to resist the very human urge to roll her eyes. She folds her arms.]

I won't deny that physics supports your claim, but equal fault rests on you for not looking ahead.

I share the blame as well, of course, so you could say we're both at fault here.

Then again, you could disregard that if you wish. [And you probably will.]
