[AUDIO 4 - ENGLISH]

[The comm clicks on. There is the sound of footsteps as Rfena speaks.]

So what does everyone think of getting a question answered in exchange for the frogs? Seems kind of weird to me.

If anyone's already done it, would they be willing to share what was told? I'm planning on holding on to mine for a while. [There's the noise of a door opening, ( Read more... )

I do not understand what could be so important about the creatures.

But the point is they are important to the crew somehow.

One of the crew made mention of it being 'for her'.

... then what happens if we do not surrender the creatures?

For who?

I don't know yet. Its part of why I'm going to be holding on to mine. Did you get one too?

The only other identifier was 'the bird.'

I haven't given it much thought, mostly because knowing too much would probably compromise the situation.

Anything worth while, they probably wouldn't answer.

That might be true. I would ask a question, but I'm more inclined to sit on it and wait a while.

Or find a way around answering directly. You'd have to phrase it right.

...Who is this, if I may ask? [She met you in Mikaela's body. She's met Mikaela since then, but not you, Jere :<]

Though the need for golden frogs is,..odd to say the least.

[Ffff, he likes being mysterious.]

Ahh,..I am Jeremiah. You must of met when I was in Mikaela's body.

They give them to some sort of female bird, apparently.

[Oh, Jeremiah! Yaaaay.]

Oh yes, I did! I'm sorry, I didn't recognize... Did you get back to your body okay?

[Oh-ho-ho, the library. Shockwave is most certainly going to show up - with his frog in tow. He wants to talk with her in person, and needs more reading material anyway.]

Frankly, they must have some value if crew members desire them. I assume it would be in my best interest to keep Spittor, then.

[Rfena will be waiting, she has nothing better to do! She's sitting in a chair, reading some Asimov. There's irony.]

That's what I'm thinking. Although apparently they give them to a bird.

...Spittor? Is that what you named it?

A bird? Strange. I suppose the bird might consume them, though answering questions to feed a bird seems odd of them.

[He nods, carefully tickling the frog under its chin. The little critter ribbits.]

Yes. It reminds me of someone I knew back home named Spittor.

Might be an important bird. I'm not sure why its important, but if it is, that's good for us, I guess.

[Rfena smiles. From her jacket pocket there's an answering ribbit. Still has the thing on her, yep.]

How does he remind you of him? Was Spittor noisy or bouncy? [Amused.]

...I-I'm holding onto mine too.

[Never mind that's partially so he doesn't have to TOUCH IT, the point stands.]

Just un--until I can think of wh-what I want to ask. And how to a-ask it. Probably have to be c-careful with that.

[Its the Kittybot~]

Yeah, that seems like a good idea. Don't want to let the crew wiggle their way out of that.

...Hey, can I ask you a question?

likeonacompass September 24 2009, 19:40:05 UTC
Y-Yeah. The engineers back home p-pulled that--that kind of thing a lot.

[Blink.]

Oh, y-yeah, sure. What is it?

So - I'm sorry if this seems impersonal - you mentioned that you were engineered. Who or what engineered you?

And you don't have to answer if you don't want...

They are pretty. And that's probably a good idea, no matter the reasoning.

Are you healing alright?

Yeah, I really like mine. 'S adorable.

Yeah, it's just taking some time. Had a lot of glass in my hand. Took Ratchet a while to get it all out.

Glass? That must've... really hurt. Ratchet fix you up okay though?

The frogs are kinda cute.
