Silly fangirl moment
There is a fellow here at work who looks like he could be Peter Wingfield's brother, or cousin or something. Same long, slender bones, height, dark hair, face shape (not *quite* the cheekbones though almost) and to top it off, he has the same accent.
(He is one of the managers in the group I am in, so I saw him my first day -- added to the surreal.)
All day today my head has been deeply in story-space, fermenting away at a story I started last night that has just taken off, and it's Highlander, so the Methos-muse has been very present.
This fellow just poked his head into the office I'm sitting in today, looking for the guy who has the other desk, and my heart went pit-a-pat.
I managed to reply calmly that C was in a meeting, and then I had to laugh at myself after he left.
Proving, once again that, yes, I am a fangirl, and wear the badge proudly.
