Good things
Happy Birthday to BlackRose (darthneko) - one of the people instrumental in me writing prose and fic and being a happy TPM (and now Highlander) fangirrrl. I trust this year will bring many good things and lots of happiness.
In completely random news, in the process of wreaking order on the sewing/work room, I Found My Good Shears!!!! I was afraid they were lost and gone forever. No, I had merely packed them in a really non-intuitive place. All with the happy there.
I have some new garb cut out and partly assembled, and a new shirt ditto -- trying a new pattern with both the shirt and the Viking overdress. Shall have new cool clothes to wear to the event next weekend.
New job is still fun, though I continue without a proper system ID, making getting some things Really Interesting. But that is really pretty minor in the scale of things.
Nifty rainstorm tonight, right overhead, but not a deluge, just a nice drink for the ground.
And I got my first new paycheck :-).
