Running toward the weekend

Jan 29, 2011 23:27

I have signed up for Purimfest. /o\ I shall be fascinated to see what I might match on.

Made bread today, did an hour on the treadmill while reading an old favorite from childhood: Noel Streatfeild's "Children on the Top Floor". Got some sewing done, including finishing the next two Sisters quilt squares.

Writing today was little clean up/editing/noodling. I posted the Gimli-Qui-Gon postcard, and sent the second one off to beta. Been thinking about the other 3, but no actual words yet.

...Huh. I forgot to actually post this last night. So instead it shall be Saturday's post as well :-)

On that note: Happy 29th Birthday Adam!

Finished and posted Space Commander Travis to Roj Blake, troublemaker for
tazlet. Also posted on AO3.

Also, I figured out how to put the netbook on the treadmill so I could type reasonably easily (alternating hands, because I am not quite confident yet of my balance & so forth to not have a hold of the frame, though I do expect to get there fairly soon), so I got a little over 300 words on a new scene in Snow and Serenity written while I did my walking. Very happy about that.
