Neil Gaiman just won the Newbery Award for _The Graveyard Book_!!!! Very, very well deserved, in my own humble opinion. And the post about it is a hoot to read.
I am back to work, but cannot at present get any work done because the system does not recognize me as a valid user, even though it remembers who I am. Gah. I would really like to be able to like, _work_. This should be solved soon, however.
