I was hoping for fruitcake, but this will certainly do. I shall have to assay making reshcat's Yule Log recipe in honor of the result :-)

500 words so far today, not as many as I hoped, but the day is not done, yet either. Now I am home from watching the dog & dining with the parents & can hopefully concentrate on Finishing The Bloody Story.
Just in time to get going on the *other* stories!
Congratulations to everyone who has reached the 50k mark in Nanowrimo, will reach it by the end of tomorrow, or even just made a good go at it. I have so far managed at least 100 every day in mini_nanowrimo & certainly intend to finish out the month going strong.
