I owe many happy birthdays, but especially to susanne_massage, "marykaykare and anya2112. Belated happies to mistressace and elayna88! I hope all your days were lovely, and the coming year will be even lovelier.
The airconditioning in the house is fixed -- new fan motor needed for the blower in the house, and he couldn't just replace the motor, it came all of a piece with the actual fan, so he had to order it. The new one is more modular, and I know things to do to keep it happier. I am learning So Much as a homeowner :-).
The car is in process -- still on track to take delivery mid/late July. Still working on arringing the financing for it too.
I have made more loaves of bread, including a lemon-poppyseed that was ok, and a version of the egg-bread with dill and rosemary that was fabulous. I added a teaspoon of each to the regular recipe and oh is it good.
Been getting some sewing done -- several new shirts made, and I finished Janet's turquoise and orange quilt, and the baby-quilt I started for Christian of Wolfhaven. Now I need to make one for his incipient sister.
I have offered two things on the livelongnmarry auction: a story and a poem. So far I think I am one of two people offering Highlander-fic. Lots and lots of pretty stuff and a good cause. ETA: 4 Highlander fic-folk, and a couple of other things too!
Very sad that I won't be at Con*Strict. You will all have to have a wonderful time and post con reports :-). Next year!
