November noodlings
Thank you all for your happy birthday wishes -- I had a lovely day at Southern Crusades on Saturday and then several of the AZ fangirls got together and we had a great time.

Work is kicking my ass -- we have a release that is due to GA in mere days and they are still giving us Substantive Content Changes for the docs. Doesn't help that I was handed these things as an emergency last minute fill in, and I've never used the actual authoring tool before. Learning it very quickly, though!
I have my core idea for my Yuletide story, but haven't gotten past the opening paragraph. My Highlander holiday fic is even less formed -- I'm really flailing with that one. I'm hoping the teeny weeny fragment of an idea that I have now will grow into something useful. Or that one of the other fragment-ideas will solidify. Aaaacccckkkk. I wanna write something!
A couple of the other fic-things are burbling much more productively, but I have no time to write, it seems like.
The weather is still oddly warm for mid-November, though there is a nice autumnal edge to the air, and the nights are nicely cool. It's been warm this whole year it seems.
I am caught up on Torchwood, and thoroughly sucked in. Still three eps to go, and I am already anxious for 2nd season! I am thinking of using my b'day money to get the 3rd season of Who, but need to wait for A Certain Package to arrive before I do.
Continuing to make my way through early episodes of Highlander. Season one might almost be subtitled "The Immortal Detective" :-) Only it's Tessa who's the motive force in Witness. Interesting to see the fragments of things that stick into later seasons and fic, and the things that just vanish -- like all the mortal supporting cast except Tessa in season one.
One of these days I'll post some actual thinky-thoughts, but that day is not today.
