Happy birthdays to
richarddbrewer and
colorfulshadows!
I had a lovely, lovely time in DC with
jblum and
kateorman, and am finally crawling out from under the recovery-from-travelling rock. We went to the Smithsonian and I saw the Rodin sculpture of great wonderfulness (The Age of Bronze. Methos posed for it, I swear. But Rodin put a different nose on the sculpture :-).) I took pictures, and at some point I hope to do a proper post with images.
Got home to discover that one of the projects I was working on for work has been cancelled (the right answer, I think, but the forthing and backing for three months was ... exciting) and now I have a new team to be working with for half my time. More structure to my days, methinks, which will be a good thing. And now I need to properly learn DITA.
Posts I want to remember to make: Three wildly dissimilar books read; DC pictures; Queen of Swords and the argument for Dr Helm as Methos; More Highlander episode reviews and continuing thoughts on HL5 ...
And, your amusing Link for the Day --
the_emu you need one of these!
