I really enjoyed the mood whiplash here and Eames's reasoning against the figurines. Also, love the emotions between them and the wonderful compromise that they eventually come to. Your Arthur's amazingly stubborn and I think I love him for it, and the whole idea of Eames's feelings is pretty beautifully described.

Thank you! I do believe that Arthur is persistent if anything. He has to be stubborn, what with his job an all right?

It really was a mood whiplash. But life is like that. Issues grow until they break in relationships. Then you have yelling matches and hurt feelings. And if it's a good relationship, you make it through them.

That entire second paragraph of your comment is the truth.

I really enjoyed this story! Especially Eames's motivation and the way both boys are BAMFs and strong willed but will compromise for each other. Lovely job.

Thank you! They will always compromise for each other. Except maybe when I get all angsty in ae_match coming up.

ngl, I laughed a few times. Some dolls are just plain creepy though, so I totally feel for him. It's like those realistic porcelain ones... *shudders*

Having said that, I love the dynamic you have here. So dysfunctional, but at the end the day they're willing to sacrifice so much for each other. Really wonderful job. <3

Some dolls creep my right out. Some don't though. Clowns bother me, but not enough to be afraid of them. I'd just rather they not be around.

I know I already told you this, but that explanation of half-finished forges with dead eyes? Brilliant.

This fic is very near and dear to my heart. I myself stand to collect a rather large number of Royal Doulton figurines from my mother.

Thank you so much! I love exploring how I think Eames' forges develop. My very first fic I wrote just because I had an idea about him and how he forges and why. I don't think I'll ever get tired of thinking about how it could work.

Also, you need to get a gun wall, then you can put all the figurines in front of it! They go so well together! lol.
