Tony and Joe played the Bitter End two nights ago. A late night show.
Awesome. The vibe was so laidback, it felt like sitting in on a jam session and those are always the coolest shows.
It was also really nice to enjoy a show with just the 21+ crowd. The lack of teenies really made the evening amazing. And showed me a different side of people.
Afterwards, I went and spent some time with friends and then in the morning came back for a full day of classes. Blech.
This weekend I am going to hit the Museum of Natural History and then Heaven, a club in the city with a bunch of school people. Reminder to call Matty and see if he wants in.
Tuesday, Rufus Wainwright's album drops and I have every intention of going to check him out in Chelsea.
Wednesday is another Tony show. Fabulous. It's hard to believe that his month here is really almost over already.
I talked to my favorite long distance friend who I need to come up with a clever nickname for and we discussed relationships, people's opinions and visiting. Honestly, I don't know if it's going to last because I don't really know Hollywood that well BUT I am glad he's happy. And whatever happens from there is fine.
