Random facts about Oerba culture(!!!) gathered from the light novel. I'll add more after I reread/remember.
OERBA:
• animals in Oerba are FIERCE BEASTS but like literally. as in the bad way.
• the people are always prepared for monster fights. like Pokémon trainers. heh.
• very communal and spiritual; they link their fingers thusly in prayer, before meals and such.
• not as advanced in technology as the rest of the world, due to being... you know... isolated
• the food tastes different (more flavorful? Fang loves salty foods. MOE)
VANILLE:
• she and Fang had apparently shared a bed since childhood. oh /////
• she cried a lot in her sleep.
• trusts Fang completely, to the point that when Fang says things will be okay, regardless of the situation, Vanille believes they will be okay.
