[Speaking of a certain someone... Here comes Gelda! She was just looking for Regal, actually, and what better place to find him than in front of the Tunnel of Love and Justice? Good thing his hair stands out like a beacon.]

[WAIT, HE HASN'T MADE UP HIS MIND YET. No fair, woman. But now he doesn't really have much of a chance of escape, does he?]

I could say the same thing about you. Have you been on any of the rides yet?

[Nope. If he tries to flee now, Gelda will never let him forget it.]

Actually, I've mostly been trying my hand at the games. As it turns out, I'm not too bad at Sonic Toss and Megamarksman. The Tin Pin Slammer is a bit beyond me, though.

Then I see we have been thinking somewhat along the same lines. I'm afraid most of the rides are beyond my level of excitement, though Lloyd and Colette seem to be enjoying themselves.

All the kids are. Roller coasters may not be our cup of tea, but teenagers seem to be drawn to them.

[She glances around at their surroundings with a mildly thoughtful expression.]

I'm certain there's a ride us old folks can enjoy somewhere in this park, though.

Something simple and relaxing that won't put too much strain on our old hearts.

Yes, that would be perfect. Now, where could we find something like that?

Hm, I wonder... I believe that ride may have boats.

[Let's not-so-subtly direct his attention back to the Tunnel of Love and Justice, now.]

[And he'll turn around to glance at the sign as if thinking about it.]

I am rather fond of boating myself. Back in my world, I would often take my yacht out for marlin fishing when the weather allowed. Of course, this ride is hardly the same thing, but it would be nice to be on a boat again.

[You showoff. Boasting about your yacht to woo the ladies, hm?]

Well, I would hate to deprive you of that experience. In fact, I'll have to accompany you myself, if it's such a pleasurable way to pass time.

[Hey, he's determined to bring you back home with him so you can ride it yourself. Secret: he's actually got more than one.]

I have no objections whatsoever.

[He'll even be offering her his arm the way a proper escort would.]

[Oh my. Well, she'd love to see either yacht of yours, Regal.]

Then, let's go.

[She accepts the arm, smiling happily. The Tunnel of Love must not get too many customers, so let's give them a run for their tokens.]

[Regal's a little skeptical as to the actual amusement value of this ride, but at least it's nice and quiet and private, which is more than he can say for the rest of Lucetiland. He'll help her into the boat before sitting down beside her.]

I wonder if the vacationers in Altamira would be interested in a similar ride. Perhaps this could be a trial run of sorts?

If that's the case, we may have to ride it multiple times in order to give it a proper evaluation. Things can be easily missed the first time.

[And just because she's sneaky like that, she'll take hold of Regal's hand and give it a soft squeeze.]

You're quite right-- we must make certain that we have analyzed every possible outcome in order to maximize enjoyment for this ride. I believe three or four rides should be sufficient for a thorough analysis, though it may require even more than that.
