The SGABigbang Challenge

I did 3 pieces for the sgabigbang challenge (website is here) for 3 (John/Rodney)stories. The original versions of the art on the website are here: Midnight Confession, Mirror Image and This thing between us, all art G or PG rated, for a total of 3 Rodneys and 5 Johns (one naked, and one about as emotional as I could make him *g*).

Thank you! For the scene in the story, John has his eyes closed while he talks but that wasn't going to work in the picture so here he is deliberately turned away, instead. Rodney should be looking at him (and I tried several different versions of Rodney) but clearly neither of my (version of the) guys feels comfortable during an emotional scene *g*

I love Second Chance so much. It defiantly fits the tone of that story. Plus I love the look of the two versions of John bound together by the John in the chair.

I'm really happy with the way the design eventually came together. The story Second Chance has such a strong emotional tone and yet so many great visuals that it was harder to decide which scenes to leave out!

These are GORGEOUS. Midnight Confessions, because John is so vulnerable, I think, is my favorite.

Thank you! I couldn't resist illustrating the scene in Midnight Confessions because of that vulnerability. I wasn't sure how much emotion would come through the portrait (it's never certain & expressions are always a challenge) but I like this one.

Hee! Thank you! Sometimes the expressions just turn out like I want them too (or at least in the ball-park). Sometimes I stash the ones that don't work, in case they can be used for something else and sometimes I delete them with much swearing *g* Lucky this time it worked!
