You know what totally sucks? Going through the different Charter School applications and feeling like I have to fucking apologize for my child's disability and like I'm going to have to kiss someone's ass and get down on my knees in gratitude for one of these fucking PUBLIC SCHOOLS to take my very sweet, mild mannered daughter! I am seething at the haughty, superior attitudes I am finding at some of the schools which gladly accept public funding to educate all children, oh! Except if your child has any sort of unseemly special needs! I even had a woman at one public school tell me that I should just send my daughter to St. Michel's School for Special Children! Uh, that's a private catholic school that is totally segregated with no chance for an inclusive education you fucking asshole! We have paid property taxes for years to educate everyone else's children why the fuck can't I find an adequate school to educate my child?
