OH I am soooo proud of myself!!
I just ran a phone cord between 2 walls, installed AT&T software, installed a modem, and set up my new internet connection--score!!!
It was a pain in the ass, and at one point, I thought i had everything wrong...but nope--turns out, just the port I had selected was wrong (thank you very much, mr. pakistan man, for helping me figure this out!)
Now I'm online again, only this time, it's not DSL (not worth the money since I'm hardly home much using the internet anyways)..so I just did dial up. But, it's actually pretty damn fast! I'm pleasantly surprised. And for $15/month, I can totally handle that.
Great weekend--went to Toledo Bend. Got sunburnt like a mofo across my shoulders, but felt good to get a slight bit of just tan on my legs and arms. Caught 20 perch/brim fish and spent lots of quality time with the family:) I love getting all rugged (sorta) and not doing my hair or make up for 3 days in a row and just hanging out in my bathing suit, feet in the water, fishing all day off the party barge and the dock.
OH but it makes me crave the beach SO much more!! I could smell the sand and sea while I was out there--i'm just ITCHING to go!! I'll have to get on katie's butt about this because she swore we could take a road trip to Fl. and I'm oh-so-ready! as soon as Clay Shoot for Games is over, and after fourth of july and all that crap.
Other than that, no boy news--why the hell does a FOURTEEN year-old have this HUGE crush on me, but I can't find a guy my own age to actually like me?! Does this mean I'm acting like a 14 year old girl?! Holy crap, I sure hope not.
time to go run and cook--what else??!---FISH for dinner! yum:)
