i hate writing counterarguments to my own claims. how stupid is that? if there was a counterargument i obviously wouldn't make the claim smart one. gosh damn the professor. "make sure you defend every claim you make. also be sure to consider objections against your claim. if you can't adequately defend your claim, it is best to stay on the safe side and not make a claim at all." WHAT?!?! jesus christ. my claim is obviously sound enough to not warrant a damn objection! now i have to make up a damn objection that's stupid. and i have a frikin objection to my objection! and i can't email this damn paper until i think of a good objection. this is so not cool.
