so i was at sunset place last night. a very good place to make observations i must say. but really now, what's up with the middle school to early high school kids? the girls look like whores. i swear it i do. i was in virgin and this girl had on a skirt that was barely big enough to be a blindfold. come on! i saw the front and that was enough. no desire to see if she could actually cover the other side of her. maybe as you get older you do get more conservative, but seriously. that's just ridiculous. cover yourself up! it wasn't mini. it wasn't even micromini. let's say denim underwear and call it a day.
and what's up with the scenes? i saw nothing but extreme prep or extreme punk. talk about clash of the titans. oh and the guys. no, just no. yo yo yo ima hardcore thug. aight dog? chu gotz dat? let's just stop there and all shake our heads. NO damn you! you are not thug. you are not street. you are not hardcore. (1) you're wearing pink. (2) you're at sunset place spending mommy and daddy's money [your "gear" total adds up to a downpayment on a car]. (3) YOU'RE WEARING PINK! pink does not = thug. pink = easter for goodness sake. that's definitely thug like. "look at me. you can associate me with little white bunnies and peeps!" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. you're dumb. whoever told you pink is the new black lied to you.
do these kids parents have no sense of time when the sun goes down? "it's 11:00. do you know where your 12 year old is?" no dammit you don't. they're in a mall with their little 12 year old friends and 16 year old boyfriend wearing crap that's small enough to be sold in victoria's secret. why is your 12 year old out at 11 anyway?!?!
to be fair, there are some that dress and act perfectly fine for their age. this number is quite the minority though. and that's sad.
