(no subject)
New Years was really fun and eventful for a change. Trent came over at about 4 and when my mom got back at 6 we got into a white chrysler and drove up to table mountain. when we got there we went in and got some "new years" hats and of course got carded at the door. we walked around and looked for 25 cent machines and we both put in a dollar. we left there without our dollars. we left and looked for some clubs in the phone book. I found the red lantern's address so we went there. we stopped at a stop and rob for some chapstick and a lighter for trent. he picked out a lighter that when you push the button, a dick pops up and lights. it also says "fuck you" over and over.
we got to the red lantern and i was nervous as hell. he went in first and came out about 10 minutes later. he said he just walked in without any prob. i was still too scared so we went around looking for other places. we remembered a place called "the cell" and went in search of it. for about 30 minutes we drove around and didnt find it.
We ended up in tower looking for some places and found this one jazz club. we walked in and stayed there for about an hour. we listened to music and could have gone to the bar but didnt really feel like getting into trouble at the DUI check points.
at about 10 oclock, we went back to the red lantern and we both went in. there were lots of people dancing and drinking. it actually was really fun. we went outside to there patio area and talked to a really drunk guy. he was fucked up. he was sleeping on one of the tables and responded late to each of or questions. we went back inside and walked around. we stayed there and talked to people until 12:30. then we headed back into town and finished the nite with movies and food.
it was really fun being in a social place with really cool people. it wasnt what i thought it would be. i think now o like "socially active" places. when mikey gets back, we are gonna go there again. this should be fun.
