General Tso's Chicken
I'm sitting here at my desk in the newsroom with most of my work done, and I'm waiting. It is taking so long for my pages to first proof. All I want to do is get off work so I can eat. I ate a late brunch to prepare.
Sissi is in town from Boston/Philly/Wilmington, DE. She invited me over for dinner tonight to eat the fantastic Chinese food that they make. Ugh! I can only think about those delicious steaming bowls of rice, shrimp rolls, chicken, pork, strange veggies and dishes I can't name because I dropped Mandarin because it took up too much of my time. Not to mention, that I would like to spend some time with her before she leaves. I ended up hanging out with other people last night.
Another note:
The job search continues. Wants: newspaper, nuturing/tough editor, a salary I can live on, potential to move up, something rounded GA reporter gig, good connections, fun city.
