Dude, my COM 480 conflict management class is like frickin therapy for me sometimes. thats kinda sweet. just some of the things we talk about & go over i'm just like damn that relates to me on so many ways. or i'll be like i can totally use that. it also just makes me pinpoint all the many conflicts going on in my life. things just become evident & then for some i realize why i act the way i do or why ppl say or do some of the things they say & do. other times its kinda stressful because it just makes me think of all the things that are pissing me off or have pissed me off recently. like there was this little while recently where i was like oh i have really cool friends, they're so fun, but i was just so down for cuz i was all thinking that they weren't really my friends. like thinking that my friends didnt really like me basically. well sometimes that class would make me think of all this & just bring it back up in my mind. but today on the other hand and some other days as well, class was very helpful. today it felt likt free therapy.
Enough about that. the roomies & kyle & I just watched Super-Size Me. it's that movie about the guy who can onlky eat mcdonald's for a month & how it basically makes him gain a ton of weight & totally screws up his system & his health. yeah it was really interesting just to know what eating such bad food a lot can do to you. this guy gained like 25 pounds. his sex-life went to shit. his liver basically turned to fat. he became at high risk for coronary heart disease or somethin. & he became depressed & experienced chest pain a lot. he also basically became addicted to mcdonalds. yuck yuck yuck is all i have to say. that'll really make you think twice next time you get fast food. we decided that its still too yummy to quit it for good tho.
the best part was when his wife related ham to heroine. he went off on how he loves ham & its the greatest thing ever & then he said, "They're not even in the same category. Ham is not the same as heroine! I could be strung out on ham foe days . . ." hahahaha it was funny guys.
